Welcome to the internet home of the Daniel Morgan Chapter of the South Carolina Society, Sons of the American Revolution.
The chapter serves the Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union County area of South Carolina.
The Sons of the American Revolution is a historical, educational, and patriotic non-profit organization that seeks to maintain and extend: the institutions of American freedom, an appreciation for true patriotism, a respect for our national symbols, the value of American citizenship, the unifying force of E Pluribus Unum that has created, from the people of many nations, one nation and one people.
Membership is open to all men age 18 and over who can prove descent from someone who aided in the Patriot cause during the American Revolution - whether by fighting in the Continental Army or state militia, providing material support of the troops, or by serving in a Committe of Safety or other Patriot Governmental office.
